Pattern-Seeking Animals is an American progressive rock supergroup formed in 2018 by Ted Leonard, Dave Meros, John Boegehold, and Jimmy Keegan, all current and former members and collaborators of the progressive rock ensemble Spock's Beard. The band brings a mix of virtuoso playing and complex compositions.
The band released its self-titled debut album in 2019. Their second album, ‘Prehensile Tales’ came out less than a year later and cemented the band's reputation as a new force in the progressive rock scene. This album features more experimental compositions and extended tracks that combine both classical and modern elements.
‘Prehensile Tales’ is now being re-released by Construction Records on two different 180-gram vinyl colors in a gatefold sleeve. The album will be available from October 18, 2024.
“‘Prehensile Tales’ on vinyl has been out-of-print for a couple years so we were all really happy to hear Construction Records is re-releasing it. The LP sound great and the colors are cool!" John - Pattern-Seeking Animals
